As a friendly husband-and-wife team with many years of professional photography and filmmaking experience, we specialise in helping ordinary people feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera. We guide you gently through the whole process, from planning your shoot to posing naturally and choosing the right looks, so that the final images feel authentic, confident and unmistakably you.

Our goal is simple: to create an experience you will enjoy and images you will genuinely love and feel proud to use or share.

The packages presented below apply primarily to Hull. However, we are also happy to customise shoot packages for other locations for an additional travel fee, just get in touch with your details.

The Street Session

£195

A relaxed outdoor shoot with a casual, modern feel.

This session takes place in and around Hull’s Old Town, where the historic streets, architecture and textures provide fantastic backdrops for natural-looking portraits with personality.

The Essentials Session

A versatile session combining studio portraits with outdoor lifestyle images.

This package is ideal for people who want a small but varied set of professional photographs for personal or professional use.

Please note: This package combines studio and outdoor photography. There may be a short break of approximately 30 minutes between the two parts of your session while we prepare for the next stage of the shoot. This time is built into the schedule and does not reduce your allocated photography time.

The Brand Builder Session

Our most complete personal branding experience.

Works especially well for entrepreneurs, creatives, professionals or anyone who wants a strong set of images that tell their story across multiple platforms.

The session begins inside with polished studio portraits before moving outdoors for more natural lifestyle imagery. This outdoor shoot takes place in and around Hull’s Old Town, making use of the historic streets, architecture and textures which make fantastic backdrops for natural-looking portraits with personality.

During this shoot we also capture short video clips which are edited into a personalised one-minute video showreel. We’ll agree an edit style for this video with ideal usage including websites, social media and professional introductions.

Additional Information About Our Photo Shoots

What should I wear?

One of the most common questions we receive before a shoot is: “What should I wear?”

The good news is that you don’t need an entirely new wardrobe. In most cases, the best outfits are simple clothes that you already feel comfortable and confident in.

As part of the planning for your shoot we will happily offer guidance on clothing choices and help you think about the different looks you might like to achieve.

A few general tips that often work well:

  • Bring a small selection of outfits – different tops or jackets can quickly create different looks.
  • Keep patterns fairly simple so the focus remains on you.
  • Layers work very well – jackets, scarves or accessories can quickly change the style of an image.
  • Choose clothes you feel comfortable in – confidence always photographs well.

For most sessions we recommend two to four outfit options, but we will always tailor the approach to suit the type of shoot you are planning.

Boudoir Photography Sessions

Starting from £300

Boudoir sessions are designed to be empowering, elegant and completely comfortable, creating beautiful images that celebrate confidence, individuality and personal style.

Many clients choose a boudoir shoot to mark a milestone, build confidence, or simply create something beautiful as a private gift for themselves or a partner. Whatever your reason, these sessions are always approached with professionalism, sensitivity and respect, ensuring the experience feels relaxed, positive and empowering from start to finish.

Your shoot can take place in the privacy and comfort of your own home, where familiar surroundings often help people relax quickly and feel completely at ease in front of the camera. To ensure the results are truly professional, we bring along specialist portable studio lighting, allowing us to create soft, flattering light and beautifully polished images while keeping the setup discreet and unobtrusive within your space.

Alternatively, if you would prefer a more styled setting, we can also arrange the shoot at a beautifully selected private location, offering an elegant and atmospheric backdrop that adds an extra touch of luxury to the whole experience.

Whichever option you choose, everything is planned carefully to ensure you feel relaxed, respected and confident throughout the shoot.

A relaxed and supportive experience

Most people who come to us have never done a professional shoot before.
Feeling nervous or unsure is completely normal.

We guide you step-by-step through the process so you always know what to do. We’ll help with posing, posture and expression while keeping things natural and relaxed.

Our aim is always to create a calm, friendly atmosphere where you can have fun and simply be yourself.

A small professional team

Tiny Rock Studios is a two-person husband and wife team, and we are both present throughout every shoot.

Working this way allows us to keep the experience personal, relaxed and consistent.

Planning your shoot

Before the shoot we will talk with you about:

  • The style of images you would like
  • Outfit choices
  • Locations
  • The overall look and feel you want to achieve

Our portfolio will also give you a clear idea of the style and quality of work we produce.

Locations

Our favourite outdoor location is Hull’s Old Town, which offers a fantastic variety of backdrops including historic architecture, cobbled streets and atmospheric alleyways.

However, street photography can work almost anywhere, and we are always happy to discuss other locations or ideas that might suit your shoot.

Final Things to Know

Delivery times

We believe great photographs deserve careful finishing. Every image is individually selected and professionally edited to achieve the polished, natural look that defines our work. Years of experience and a highly refined workflow allow us to deliver this quality efficiently, without rushing the process.

While we ask clients to allow up to four weeks for delivery during our busiest periods, we would normally expect your photographs to be ready much sooner. Before you leave your shoot, we’ll provide you with an estimated delivery date based on our current workload, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

Bringing a friend

We pride ourselves on creating a safe, relaxed and enjoyable shoot experience for every individual. However, if having a partner or friend present would help you feel more comfortable, that is absolutely fine. We simply ask that you let us know in advance and that it only be one person.

Weather

Outdoor sessions are dependent on suitable weather. If conditions are poor we will happily rearrange the shoot for a better day. We will monitor forecasts in the lead up to the shoot.

Booking and payment

To secure your booking we require a £100 retainer once a date has been agreed.

The remaining balance is due 72 hours before the shoot.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to find a new date within three months of the original booking that works for us both.

Retainers are non-refundable, but any additional payments made will be refunded if a shoot is cancelled.

Image usage

Copyright of all photographs and video remains with Tiny Rock Studios. We grant you a full licence to use your delivered images and video for both personal and professional purposes, including websites, social media, marketing materials and promotional content.

Like most professional photographers, we may occasionally feature a small selection of images in our portfolio, on our website or across our social media channels to demonstrate the quality and style of our work. This helps future clients see the standard they can expect and is reflected within our pricing. However, we fully appreciate that some images may be more personal than others, and any reasonable request for particular photographs not to be used publicly will always be respected.

Images may not be resold without our written permission.
